20+ years of hands-on experience behind every cut, seam, and coat of paint.
“Done right. On time.”
— The standard on every job, large or small
In Kyle's own words
“I leave every job site more complete than I did the day before. To God be the glory. I build everybody's house with heart and soul. Think, believe, and know it's mine.”
I take pride in my work, and I'm a perfectionist about it — a job isn't finished until it's right. My promise is simple: honest, reliable, and done right. Done right, and on time.
I'm always furthering my education and working toward more certificates, because I want to be the best at what I do. And it's about more than the work itself — every job done well is a chance to help build a better community.

The everyday woodwork a home depends on, measured twice and built once — cleanly and solidly.
How Kyle does it: Every piece is measured twice, cut once, and checked for fit before it's fastened. Joints land tight, lines run straight, and nothing gets covered up until it's right.
The skeleton of the build, framed square and strong so everything after it goes right.
How Kyle does it: Layout is snapped and checked against the plans, plates are laid out square, and every wall is plumbed, leveled, and braced before sheathing goes on — so the drywall, doors, and trim that follow all land true.
Hung, taped, and finished smooth — ready for paint with seams you can't find.
How Kyle does it: Sheets are hung tight with seams staggered and screws set just below the surface. Each coat is feathered wide and sanded between coats, then checked in raking light — if you can find the seam, it isn't done.
Proper prep first, then clean lines and even coats that hold up inside and out.
How Kyle does it: Prep does the heavy lifting — scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and masking come first. Then primer where it's needed and two even finish coats, cut in clean: no drips, no missed spots, no paint where it doesn't belong.
The list nobody else finishes — handled in one visit, completely.
How Kyle does it: He works the list top to bottom, brings the tools and common materials to finish in one visit whenever possible, and checks each item off with you before he leaves. Nothing gets left "mostly done."
Whole-room updates carried from framing through finish by the same accountable tradesman.
How Kyle does it: One tradesman carries the room from tear-out to final coat — framing, drywall, paint, flooring, and trim in sequence, with your home protected and the site cleaned as he goes. No waiting on other crews, no hand-offs.
A finished floor is only as good as what's under it — Kyle builds it from the joists up.
How Kyle does it: It starts underneath. Joists are inspected and repaired, insulation goes in while the floor is open, and the subfloor is leveled, glued, and screwed down so it can't squeak. Only then does the finished floor go down — tight to the walls, with the trim finished clean.
The finish work is where a job shows — and where a perfectionist earns his keep.
How Kyle does it: Doors are shimmed plumb so they swing true and latch smooth. Trim is coped and mitered tight, nail holes are filled, and caulk lines are tooled clean before paint — no gaps, no daylight at the joints.
Outdoor woodwork built sturdy and left ready for the weather.
How Kyle does it: Rotten wood comes out — it never gets covered over. The framing underneath is checked for solid bearing, new boards are fastened to last, and everything is left plumb, level, and sturdy underfoot.
Stairs you can trust on every step, and handrails anchored like they mean it.
How Kyle does it: Stairs are measured for even rise and run, treads are fastened solid with no bounce or squeak, and handrails are mounted at proper height and anchored into the framing — not just the drywall.

How it works
Tell Kyle what you need — a repair, a room, or a full punch list. Photos help if you have them.
Kyle looks at the job in person, and you get the scope, price, and timing in plain language, in writing, before any work begins.
Floors and furnishings are covered, the work area is set up clean, and materials are on hand before the first cut.
One accountable tradesman on the tools. The site is left more complete every day than the day before — and cleaned up at the end of each day.
You check the finished work together, the punch list is closed out item by item, and the job isn't done until it's right.

Meet the owner
Kyle Bridges is the owner and skilled tradesman behind Bridges Carpentry & Home Repairs. With more than 20 years of experience across carpentry, structural framing, drywall and taping, and interior and exterior painting, he takes on the full job — not just one trade from it.
He's been at this work since he was 12 years old — his whole life. Kyle started in carpentry at 12, 13, working alongside his granddad, a contractor in Boston, Massachusetts, and he never put the tools down. He's certified in carpentry, and he keeps building on it — he's currently taking HVAC classes to round out what he can offer. Ask him about it and he'll tell you plain: this work is his passion, not just his living.
That range is the point. A remodel doesn't stop and wait for three different crews: Kyle frames it, hangs and finishes the drywall, paints it, and closes out the punch list himself. For homeowners, that means one call and one person accountable. For builders and contractors, it means a subcontractor who can be handed a list and trusted to finish it.
The card says it plainly: Honest. Reliable. Done Right. — and the follow-through to match: quality work builds stronger tomorrows, done right and on time.
About me
I'm Kyle Bridges — and before I'm a business owner, I'm a family man. My wife and I are raising two young children, and they're the reason I get up and get after it every day.
I'm working to make a living, same as everybody else. But I want the work to stand for something more than a paycheck. Every wall framed straight, every room finished right, every home put back together better than I found it — that's my part in building a better world and a better community, one job at a time.
When you hire Bridges Carpentry & Home Repairs, you get me on the tools, start to finish — and I work on your home the way I'd want a man to work on mine.
Why choose us
Clear scope and a straight quote up front. If something changes, you hear it before it costs you.

No hand-holding needed. Hand Kyle the list — he'll work it through to the last item.
Two decades of craft in every detail, from the framing you can't see to the finish you can.
Training & certificates
Alongside 20+ years on the tools, Kyle has completed formal training and certification in construction and carpentry:
And Kyle isn't done learning. He is furthering his education and working toward more certificates, because that's the standard he holds himself to: a tradesman who shows up striving to earn every client, who takes pride in being the best at what he does, and who is a perfectionist about the work — it isn't finished until it's right.
